Troubleshooting the Digital Stream TV Converter Box
Remote control for Digital Stream does not work on my TV.
Searching for programming codes using the remote that came with the Digital Stream converter box?
1 Ensure that the TV is turned on.
2 Hold down the power button for a few seconds.
NOTE: While programming the remote, you will need to hold down the TV power button.
By releasing the TV power button, programming ends.
3 Keep pressing the Up Arrow until the TV turns off.
You need to wait one second between pressing a button on the remote and receiving a response from the TV.
The remote control has reached the end of the list of TV codes after 105 Up Arrow presses.
Press the Down Arrow instead of the Up Arrow to scan through the TV codes in the other direction.
4 By using the remote, you can turn the TV back on after it shuts off.
5 Make sure all of the buttons on the TV work.
NOTE: Keep searching for the remote code in step 1 if any of the TV buttons aren’t working.
Remove the batteries from the remote control and press some of the buttons to reset the memory. You should then replace the batteries.
