In fact, last week, after I lost my remote control, I encountered the same problem when I connected my television to the internet.

When I lost internet access, I was unable to watch what I was watching on TV.

My TV needs to be connected to WiFi as soon as possible, and I’ll look for my remote later.

So In the meantime, I checked the internet to determine if I could connect my TV to the WiFi without using a remote control, and if so, how I could do it.

Control your TV with a USB mouse

Typically, USB ports can be found on the sides or back of most TVs today.

USB connectors are frequently found on computers so that storage devices, such as hard drives and USB flash drives, can be attached and played.

Some smart TVs allow you to navigate using a mouse and keyboard as well.

Connect a USB keyboard and mouse to the TV’s USB ports to see if you can do this.

Try to detect the mouse and keyboard on the TV.

Using your TV’s WiFi settings, connect it to your network if it has one.

Ethernet cable to your router is required to connect your TV

If A network cable can be used to connect a TV to your network if you don’t have a USB keyboard or mouse.

If you are having trouble finding a LAN port, check your TV to see if it has one; usually they are easily spotted, but you can use the image above to help you locate them.

If you have a TV, ensure that the ethernet cable from your router reaches it.

If you don’t already have one, you should buy the DbillionDa Cat8 Ethernet Cable.

To one end of the cable, connect the router and an ethernet port on the TV. Choose a long cable to ensure that it works.

If it has been disconnected, reconnect the TV to the internet.

Use the Companion App instead to control the TV

If your TV is connected to the internet, most Smart TV brands offer companion apps that allow you to control it with your phone.

LG televisions

Your phone’s app store should have the LG TV Plus app. Download it and enjoy.

By opening the app, you can choose your TV.

Ensure your phone and TV are connected to the same WiFi network prior to scanning your devices.

When it detects your smart TV, it will prompt you to complete the pairing process.

Samsung television

When you use SmartThings to control Samsung TVs, you’ll just need to connect your hub to the TV in order to control it.

By following these steps, you can control your Samsung TV from your phone:

Download the SmartThings app
From the menu, choose All devices.
TVs are available.
The remote will be displayed on your phone.

Sony Television

If you connect your phone and Sony TV to the same wireless network, you can control the TV from your phone.

TV SideView can be downloaded from the app market on your smartphone.
Start the app after it has been downloaded.
By connecting the app to your TV, you can connect it to your network and find your TV.

Vizio TV

On your smartphone, you can download the Vizio TV Remote Control app.

Be sure that both devices are connected to the same wireless network before beginning the pairing process.

Pair the app with your TV by following the instructions in the app.

Roku TV

For Roku, there are App Stores and Play Stores.

You’ll need to connect your Roku TV and iPad to the same wireless network, and then pair the apps.

Your phone and TV can be paired by following the app’s instructions.

Roku TVs that cannot connect to wireless networks can be fixed by restarting them.

Also, this will fix any problems that occur after connecting your Roku to Wi-Fi.

Connect your TV to a mobile hotspot

You should still have access to the Internet regardless of whether your home has a regular WiFi connection or not.

Using the WiFi hotspot on your phone, you can still connect your smart TV to the internet.

Turn on WiFi hotspot from your phone’s settings.

Just as if the TV were connected to any other WiFi hotspot, it must also be connected to the hotspot.

If you stream content to smart TVs from your phone, make sure your data plan is adequate, especially if you stream content in 4K. Reduce the quality or make sure your data plan is sufficient.
