With a CABLE or SAT remote you can control the volume of a soundbar
The following steps will show you how to control the volume of your soundbar with your CAB or SAT remote control:
- Your soundbar’s remote control code is a 3, 4 or 5 digit number.
- Activate the soundbar and TV.
- You can use your CAB or SAT remote to control the TV/Soundbar.
- Your CAB or SAT remote should flash when you press the SETUP button – see the image below. If this doesn’t work, try another remote.
OR
As soon as the light illuminates, press AUX and OK simultaneously. Once the sound bar has turned off, press CHANNEL UP, followed by AUX to save the channel. You can disregard the remaining steps if this method works.
- The CAB or SAT remote should be programmed with the soundbar remote code. The following are the most common soundbar remote codes – you may have to try multiple times until you find the correct code).
- CAB or SAT remotes will have a small green LED light that will blink.
- Make sure your soundbar’s volume is controlled by the CAB or SAT remote control.

When the correct code is entered, the light will blink green
Try changing the volume of the soundbar using the remote

Click on Settings & Help in the navigator button
Select Settings
Navigate to Remote Control and select it
To program a device, select Program Remote and then select the device
To program your DIRECTV remote, follow the instructions on the screen
