You can use your Dish remote control to control your Vizio TV using the following instructions.
Dish Remote to Vizio TV
Program Dish Remote to Work with Vizio TV:
1 – Put your Dish remote in the direction of your Vizio TV
2 – When all four mode buttons on the Dish remote flash, press and hold the TV button on top of the remote.
3 – For Vizio models, enter either 773, 505 or 627 (whichever works on your unit).
4 – Click the # button.
5 – When the TV button flashes three times, your TV is working.
6 – Using the Dish remote, check the volume and power buttons.
7 – Using the Dish remote, you should now be able to control your Vizio TV.
It now turns on the Dish TV, changes the volume with volume controls, and mutes the sound.
