The following instructions will explain how to use a Bose remote control to control your TV. Different Bose audio systems can be controlled in different ways. You can control the BOSE remote with your TV using two methods listed below.

You have to select the correct TV code before you can use your BOSE remote to operate the TV:
The remote control code for your TV can be located using the links at the bottom of the page. After finding your TV in the list, start by entering the code listed at the top of the list.)
To control a television with a BOSE Audio Remote:
Step 1 – You should turn on the TV.
Step 2 – Press the TV button on the Bose remote.
Step 3 – By pressing System on the TV, you can display the Bose system menu.
Step 4 – On the media center display, you’ll see the message “SYSTEM: SEE TV”.
Step 5 – You can access the Bose system menu by using the TV’s remote control.
Step 6 – You can select the “Remote Control” icon on your Bose remote by pressing the right arrow, then press ENTER.
Step 7 – You can highlight “TV Brand” by pressing the Down arrow, then press ENTER.
Step 8 – Right-click on the highlight to move it.
Step 9 – You can find and select the brand of your TV by using the Up arrow and Down arrow on the remote, then click ENTER.
Step 10 – Press ENTER when you have reached “TV Code:”.
Step 11 – As the highlight shifts to the right, the text will become highlighted.

Step 13 – Press the (TV) On/Off button.
Step 14 – You have the correct code if the TV turns off.
Step 15 – Press (TV) On/Off again if the TV does not turn off after using the second code.
Step 16 – You need to select codes until you find a working one.
Step 17 – The system menu can be left by pressing Exit.

Step 1 – Learn how to set up your TV.
Step 2 – Make sure the TV and BOSE systems are both on.
Step 3 – Three seconds are needed to press the TV and program buttons.
Step 4 – Once you’re in programming mode, the remote source buttons will light up.
Step 5 – Enter the TV’s setup code with the number keys.
Step 6 – To complete programming, click Program once.
Step 7 – Successful programming is indicated by a single flash of the remote control.
Step 8 – You can confirm this by turning your TV on and off using the remote.
