Then, program the remote with the 3 digit code you have received for your TV…
Use the remote control to select PGM (program)
This device remains lit when the signal indicator is pressed
With the number keys, enter the three-digit TV remote code
For confirmation, press OK
When the program has been completed, the signal indicator will be on
Make sure the volume can be controlled by the remote by pressing the volume keys
You should now have a programmed remote
Trying another remote code for the same TV brand may work if your remote does not control your TV.
The code entered is incorrect if the signal indicator does not blink after four blinks.
Make sure the TV brand code is entered correctly.
Turn on your TV and select the input source using the remote control, then control the volume.

RCA Digital Converter Box Troubleshooting tips:
The channel is not available or the signal is weak
Antennae can be repositioned by moving them.
To improve reception for Digital TV, a more powerful antenna may be necessary if the signal is still weak.
It is recommended to use a Smart Antenna.
Channel scanning is needed for the newly connected Smart Antenna
To scan the channels, press 1 in the menu, then 5 for Settings.
Analog channels can’t be received by TV
Make sure the cables are correctly connected and turn on the converter box (passthrough mode).
Unit does not work
The AC power cord needs to be unplugged and plugged back in.
No picture on the TV screen
Please make sure that the converter box is turned on.
Verify that the converter box and television are properly connected.
Make sure the picture is visible by changing channels or inputs on the TV.
No sound
Be sure the connection between the converter box and TV is correct.
Make sure that the TV’s sound is not muted.
Remote control is not working
Inspect your batteries to make sure they are inserted correctly.
If the batteries run out, replace them.
If there are any obstacles between the remote control and the converter box, remove them.
An unexpected power outage has occurred with the Converter Box
In the main menu, make sure you have enabled Auto Power Down Timer. (The default setting is 4 hours.)
Viewing bilingual TV programs in their secondary language is impossible
You should check the audio settings to make sure they are correct.
Forgot password
Input the master password 3308 under “Ratings” in the main menu.
Passwords should be changed. Programs cannot be viewed with the master password.
