In order to program the LG, Vizio, Sony, Insignia, Sanyo, Bose Solo, or Samsung soundbar remotes, you must enter the following codes. It has been verified that these codes work with Xfinity, Comcast, Verizon FiOS, DirecTV, Uverse, Time Warner, Brighthouse, and DISH, as well as the majority of generic universal remote controllers. NOTE: Use the “AUX” button on your remote to control the sound bar if you have trouble programming your remote to work with your Sound Bar.

BOSE SOUNDBAR REMOTE CODES
Here are the codes you need to program your remote control to work with a BOSE Solo Sound Bar:
Uverse programming instructions:
(At the same time) press ATT/OK – 955 – Enter
Following the mode button, the volume control will appear.
Programs available through DirecTV:
Select AV1 or AV2
- The LED will flash twice as you hold down MUTE and SELECT
- Type in the four or five digit code above.
If the VOL UP doesn’t work after each code, try the VOL DOWN.
In that case, slide the switch to AV 1 or AV 2
- Tap SELECT (LED flashes twice) and MUTE at the same time.
- Press SELECT, then 993
NOTE: You need to make sure your Bose will accept IR codes.

INSIGNIA SOUNDBAR REMOTE CODES
These are the codes you need to program your remote control for INSIGNIA Sound Bars:
Try Code Search if you are not able to use your Comcast remote or above codes:
Make sure your sound bar is on.
The Aux button on the remote should be pressed once.
You should then hold the Setup key until it blinks twice, and then release it.
Please enter 9 – 9 – 3.
Two times will be displayed on the Aux key.
You can turn the sound bar off by pressing the CH + button several times on the remote control while the sound bar is on and your remote is aimed at it.
Once the code has been locked in, press Setup again.
Two blinks will appear on the Aux key.
Repeat steps 1 to 5 for any other device you want to find codes for, substituting the mode key for the device you’re looking for.
SIDE NOTE: During search mode, the remote control first sends the most popular IR codes to the selected device from its library.

REMOTE CODES FOR SONY SOUNDBAR
The following codes should be used to program your remote to the SONY Sound Bar:
Use this method to program your Uverse remote:
Enter 955 by pressing both ATT and OK simultaneously.
The STB sound should be set to 15 in ATT mode.
TV volume should be set to a comfortable level
SONY soundbars can be set to a comfortable volume level.

You can control the sound bar’s volume by following the Unlock/Lock instructions with the 993 code for the Comcast remote.
Following the instructions, make sure the volume is unlocked with the 993 code.
You will then be able to adjust the volume using Comcast’s remote rather than the TV.
