How To Fix SKSE64 Not Working?

Despite its popularity, Skyrim has glitches like many other games. There are reports of SKSE64 problems. An error message might appear if the application freezes. By using SKSE64, the Skyrim Script Extender 64, this mod tool is essential for applying complicated mods to Skyrim.

8. Skyrim and Skyrim-related apps should be allowed on both public and private networks.

Solution #2: Add An Exclusion To Windows Defender Or Antivirus

4. Click on the search field and type Skyrim.
5. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim can be found by searching for it.

7. Clicking on the number will redirect you to a new page.

9. The section ID associated with ‘Skyrim Special Edition.exe’ should be written here.
10.  A new page will appear after clicking the number.
11. From the list, select Manifests.
12. Record the number older than the most recent release date.
13. If the update was released 5 days ago, use the number listed before.
14. Select the desktop.
15. Choose the Steam launcher shortcut from the right-click menu.
16. Click the Properties button.
17. Type ‘console’ in the Target box after you have already typed the earlier text.
18. A space should not appear at the end of the word.
19. Click OK, then apply.
20. Click the Steam shortcut to open the console.
21. You can also enter the App ID, Depot ID, or Manifest ID by typing ‘download-depot’.
22. Press the Enter key.
23. Select the older version download (on the Console tab).
24. Copy the executable file to your computer.
25. After that, use ‘Copy and Replace’ to paste it into the game installation folder.
26. You will go back to the previous version of Skyrim.
27. See if this resolves the error by running it.

Solution #4: Disable Any Defective Mods

If a game does not update and the mods do not do so, this error can occur. Mods are usually updated at the same time as games are updated. Although you might have to disable problematic mods if the update takes longer than expected.
