A wide range of TV components as well as VCRs, DVDs, and audio components can be supported by the UC5U-8780L & UC5U-8790L. Please follow the instructions below to quickly set up remote codes.

Step 1
A TV can be programmed manually by turning it on.
Step 2
Hold down both the television and the buttons A (Yellow) or B (Blue) for 3 seconds each, depending on which column your TV belongs to. A 30-second LED light will illuminate the TV button after entering the program mode.
Step 3
The TV button LED on the remote control should be on, so point the remote control at it and press the corresponding button on the TV. For example, button 5 for Sharp TVs. You should see your TV go off. Alternatively, if it does not turn off, keep pressing the same number button repeatedly.
Step 4
Press the TV button a second time once the TV has been turned off to save the code. Now you can control your TV with your remote.
You need to repeat the process for all other components (TV, VCR, DVD, etc.).
